About Church Pool
The pools are located in Bridgnorth, Shropshire. To get there, drive along Church Lane and look for an Oak tree with ‘Woodland Lodge Park’ written on it. Do not turn into the main entrance of Woodland Lodge Park, but instead continue down the road until you see a track on the left that leads you behind the lodges. Drive slowly and quietly as residents live there.
Once you pass the last lodge and a small pond, look for a steel gate on the right. If it’s unlocked, you can use this access, but remember to close all gates behind you. If the gate is locked, use the track on the left side of the gravel track or park by the gate. Drive to the bottom of the field and park by the small hut, which is Pool 1. Pool 2 is in the opposite corner of the field.
Both pools are stocked with Carp, Perch, Roach, Rudd, Tench, Bream, Eels, and Ide. They are 5-6ft deep with an island in each. Parking is available by Pool 1, and if the weather permits, you can drive to Pool 2 but be cautious to avoid damaging the field or getting stuck.
