Sandhurst Lake is the newest lake at Yateley Complex in Hampshire. It is popular for day ticket fishing and is relatively shallow with depths ranging from 2 to 10 feet. There is one island for fishing and many sand bars and features in the 31 swims available.
The lake is home to around 400 carp, with most of them being stocked in 1998 at around 3 pounds. These fish have since grown to over 20 pounds, with many reaching 25 pounds or more, and even some over 30 pounds. It is rare for a day ticket lake to have carp over 40 pounds, but Sandhurst has several, with the venue record being over 43 pounds.
Access to the fishery is restricted to ticket holders or by prior arrangement. The lake offers great fishing opportunities for carp anglers of all levels.
