Fields End Water Caravan Park in Cambridgeshire near Doddington is a place where adults can stay and go fishing. There are two lakes where you can catch different types of fish like Carp, Tench, Roach, and Perch. One lake called “The Pit” is three acres big and has been used for fishing for fifteen years. It is known for being quiet, peaceful, and welcoming to all fishermen. There is also a bait shop on-site that opened in April 2009.

In “The Pit” lake, you can find Carp, Crucian, Tench, Perch, and Roach. The biggest Carp caught there was 27lbs and a regular fisherman recently caught a 10lb Tench. There are twenty-four spots around the lake where you can fish from. During busy times like summer and holidays, it’s best to arrive early to get a good spot.

“The Pool” lake is made specifically for match fishing. It opened in 2004 and has been stocked with thousands of Carp, Chubb, Orf, Barbel, and Tench ranging from half a pound to six pounds. They are growing quickly. There are different fishing events held at “The Pool” like Open Matches, Senior Citizens matches, pub team series, and a Jackpot Series on Thursday evenings. Angling clubs, teams, and private groups can also book the lake for their own matches. “The Pool” has become a popular fishing spot for many people.
