About Buttonhole Lake
Buttonhole Lake is a mixed fishery in Cambridgeshire run by Chris and Bev Smith. The lake is closed on Tuesdays until further notice, so make sure to check before heading out. Please follow social distancing guidelines due to COVID-19.
To fish at Buttonhole Lake, adults pay £8 for one rod or £12 for two rods. Juniors (15 years and under) pay £5 for one rod. Juniors must be accompanied by an adult from the same household.
Make sure to have a valid fishing license before fishing. The lake has carp, barbel, tench, bream, perch, roach, and rudd. There are 23 wooden platforms and a wheelchair-friendly platform (currently closed for repair).
There is a payment box on the fence for fees. Parking and toilets are available on site. The lake is open from 6am or dawn until 7pm or dusk, six days a week.
Day tickets can be purchased on the bank. Dogs are not allowed on the site. Please supervise juniors at all times. The current opening times are 7am to 7pm.
