Yew Tree Fisheries is located just 1 mile outside the pretty village of Thornton Hough. It was created by a fisherman and opened as a day ticket fishing spot in 2009. The fishery is well maintained and follows high standards.
There are two lakes at Yew Tree Fisheries. The larger lake is about 1 acre in size and has 26 fishing spots. You can find plenty of Tench weighing between 4 and 10 lbs, as well as Carp up to 24 lbs. There are also larger Catfish, Barbel, and Bream up to 7 lbs. Additionally, there are various silver fish like Rudd, Roach, and Skimmers in this lake.
The smaller lake is about 1/4 acre in size and has 8 fishing spots. It has similar fish to the larger lake, but with a wider variety of Carp weighing up to 10 lbs.
