About Blea Water

Blea Water Lancashire Birkacre Small Lodge is a fishing spot near Chorley in Lancashire. It is located behind the visitors centre at Yarrow Valley Park and has 15 fishing spots. There are toilets in the visitor centre and parking for disabled people near the Lodge. A few years ago, the lake was cleaned out with the help of the Environment Agency to remove some dirt. After the cleaning, the fish were put back into the water. The Lodge also added skimmers from another lake, and now there are Roach, Skimmers, Tench, Crucian Carp, Perch, and a few Common Carp in the water. This spot is good for fishing in the winter, especially for Roach and Skimmers using bread punch. You can use keep nets from June 16th to March 14th, but you can’t keep any carp in the nets.
