About Walrow Ponds
The Walrow Pond complex in Somerset has three lakes: Railway, Snag, and Factory. Snag lake is great for match-style fishing and has plenty of fish. The other two lakes, Railway and Factory, are best for carp fishing but can also be fun for match anglers.
The lakes are managed by Bridgwater Angling Association and Highbridge Angling Association. You can find the complex off Walrow Road in Highbridge. To get there, turn off the roundabout in Highbridge and head east. After you pass the railway bridge, turn left into a lane between the houses. The entrance to the lakes is through a gate at the end of the lane. Remember to park inside the entrance gate to avoid getting clamped.
