About Wych Lodge Lake
Wych Lodge Lake in Somerset is a great place for fishing. Thanks to the hard work of the Taunton Angling Association, the Heritage Lottery, and the Environment Agency, the lake has been improved and restored. They cleaned out the lake and removed plants from the bottom, giving anglers more space to fish.
They’ve also made the lake more accessible by adding two wheelchair-friendly platforms on one side of the lake. There’s a path all around the lake that leads to six more fishing platforms on the other side. On the wheelchair-accessible side, there are four more platforms, so up to eleven people can fish comfortably at the same time.
The lake has been restocked with different types of fish like roach, bream, perch, and carp. With these improvements, Wych Lodge Lake is a great place for anglers to have a fun and enjoyable fishing experience.
