About Moat Lake

The Becmain Angling Society manages different fishing spots, including a day ticket lake called Pea Lane Fishery near Upminster. This beautiful lake is quiet and peaceful, perfect for people who love fishing. Kids under 18 need to have an adult with them. It’s important to not leave any trash behind. The person in charge of the lake, called the bailiff, really doesn’t like it when people leave litter.

In 1998, the Becmain Angling Society started taking care of Garnish Hall in Abridge. This lake is only for members of the society. It’s a small lake with an island in the middle. Anglers can catch carp, roach, and rudd here. The lake is behind a farmhouse and is well-kept and clean.
