Tylers Common Fishery in London has been around for 13 years and is known as one of the best fishing spots in the southeast. Famous anglers like Bob Nudd and Matt Hayes have visited to try their luck at catching fish.
The fishery has been featured in magazines for its great fishing opportunities, from catching Bream to participating in winter match fishing.
You can catch a variety of fish at Tylers Common, like Roach, Carp, Barbel, and Bream. Some anglers have even caught bags of carp weighing over 200 pounds!
There are clean toilets on site and you can buy refreshments on weekends. The 25-acre site has four lakes, each with its own special fishing spots.
You can’t fish at night at Tylers Common, but you can try night fishing at our other lakes in Braintree or Cambridge. Our lakes can also be booked for club matches or corporate events.
To protect our fish, you can’t take them out of the lakes. Safety is important, so be careful around deep water areas.
You should only use barbless hooks and limit your ground bait to 1kg per person. Keepnets are allowed during matches but fish should not be kept for more than 6 hours.
Kids under 16 must be with an adult and dogs are not allowed on the premises. Be cautious as you enter and park at the fishery.
No fires or disposable barbecues are allowed, and please clean up after yourself to keep the area nice for everyone.
