Facilities at the fishery include a heated ‘carp cabin’ with clean toilets, washing facilities, and a kitchen with charging facilities. There is also an electric wheelbarrow available for members to use.
The fishery does not have designated hot spots for fishing, so anglers are encouraged to bait different areas to attract the fish. Most top-quality baits work well at Highbridge Fisheries, with Moretakes Bait being a popular choice.
The fish at Highbridge move around different depths throughout the year, so it’s important to try different depths until you find the fish. Baiting heavily with several kilograms in a 24-hour session can be effective when the fish are active.
Highbridge Fisheries is located 5 miles from Thetford and 2 miles from East Harling in the village of Bridgham. There is only one water in the village, making it easy to find.
