About Airfield lakes

Airfield Lakes in Norfolk is a lovely carp fishing spot in the South Norfolk countryside near the Waveney Valley. It has two lakes that are filled with unique and beautiful carp that you can only find in East Anglia. These carp are known for their stunning looks and make for an exciting fishing experience.

The fishery is run by Richard Wilby and his family, who are friendly and welcoming. They want to make Airfield Lakes one of the best carp fisheries in the country. The biggest carp caught here so far is 50 pounds and 4 ounces, which shows just how good the fishing is here.

You can easily get to Airfield Lakes as it’s just one mile off the A140 between Ipswich and Norwich. It’s located near the small village of Dickleburgh on private farmland across from an old second-world-war airfield. Even though the airfield is only used for vintage plane displays a few times a year now, it adds to the charm of the area.

Whether you’re a beginner or an expert angler, Airfield Lakes is a great place to relax and enjoy some fishing. With its beautiful setting, amazing carp, and commitment to customer satisfaction, Airfield Lakes is a must-visit for anyone who loves carp fishing in the area.
