Dubbs Tarn Reservoir is a big lake near Kendal in Cumbria. It has rainbow and brown trout that are put there on purpose. People can fish there but they can only use fly fishing. You have to be in a club called the Fisher Tarn Angling Association to fish there, but sometimes they let people buy a pass for just one day. There aren’t a lot of fish in the lake so it’s good to move around and try different spots. In the summer, there can be a lot of algae in the water, so it’s better to fish in the morning or evening. To get there, go on the A684 road towards Sedbergh from Kendal. After you cross the train tracks, take the second small road on the left and keep going until you see the dam on your right.
