About Birkwood Fisheries

Birkwood Farm Fisheries is a family-run fishing business that started in 1996 with just one lake. Now, there are 5 lakes for fishing, as well as access to the river and canal. The owners, Dick and Sandra, are supported by Chris and Sharon.

The fishing complex is located in a rural area near Leeds, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Mirfield, York, Doncaster, and Sheffield. It is easily accessible from all parts of Yorkshire.

The lakes are named Main Lake, Frog Hall Lake, Molly’s Lake, Oscar’s Lake, and Emily’s Lake. There are over 100 fishing stations available. The lakes have a variety of fish including Carp, Roach, Rudd, Tench, Perch, and Bream. Recently, F1 Carp have been stocked in Emily’s and Oscar’s Lakes.

Visitors can expect a friendly atmosphere and a clean environment at Birkwood. Parking is convenient, with spaces near the fishing platforms. There are also toilets available on site.
