Railway Pit

Railway Pit Yorkshire, or The Gravel Pits, is a popular fishing location offering ample opportunities for anglers.

It stretches across both sides of the river, with fishing permitted from the weir downstream on each bank.

The right bank allows fishing to the old abandoned flood lock near the railway, while the left bank extends to the flood lock near Brookfoot lake.

Railway Pit Yorkshire, also known as The Gravel Pits, is a favorite spot for anglers with plenty to offer. It spans both sides of the river from the weir downstream. On the right bank, anglers can fish from the weir to the old abandoned flood lock near the railway embankment, a distance of 1000 yards. On the left bank, fishing is allowed from the weir to the flood lock near Brookfoot lake, a distance of 1850 yards.
