About Bakers Pond
Bakers Pond in Yorkshire is a three-acre fishing spot located at the end of Springfield Road in Kilnhurst. To access the pond, you will need to go through a locked gate into a car park, which is open to anglers only. There are 35 platforms made of recycled plastic for fishing, some of which are located close to the car park for convenience. You can catch rudd, roach, bream, tench, and crucian carp using methods like whip, pole, and waggler. This is a great spot for teaching kids how to fish, as they only need a short whip to start catching fish. Recently, Baker’s Pond has been renovated to include more fishing spots and paths, some of which are accessible to disabled individuals. There is also a toilet and improved landscaping at the pond.
