About Kirklees Lagoon

Kirklees Lagoon in Yorkshire is a large fishing venue located on the main road between Poole and Otley. The lake has over 50 fishing spots with parking available behind some of them. The club has recently put up a fence to protect the fish from otters, so make sure to always close the gate.

This lake has a variety of fish, including carp weighing over 30lbs, bream up to 10lbs, tench up to 8lbs, roach, perch, and pike. While carp fishing is popular here, there are plenty of other species to catch.

Members of Bradford No1 AA are allowed to fish here, and night fishing is permitted with the purchase of a night permit that is valid for both Knotford and Kirklees Lagoons.
