Our 10-acre lake has different types of fish, such as Carp, Bream, Tench, Roach, Perch, Pike, and Eels. The Carp are the most popular fish to catch, and there are some really big ones in the lake, with the biggest Carp weighing over 30lbs.

Fishing at York Lakeside Lodges can be challenging, and it’s best suited for experienced anglers. It’s not a place where you can easily catch lots of fish. You need to take your time, use good fishing skills, and find the right spots to catch fish.

We have rules in place to make sure that everyone can enjoy fishing at the lake and most importantly, to make sure that the fish are well taken care of.
