About Moorfields Farm Fisheries
Moorfields Farm Fisheries in Yorkshire has three lakes for fishing. There are two lakes for match fishing, one with 54 pegs and the other with 30 pegs. There is also a pleasure fishing lake that can accommodate 20-25 anglers.
All the lakes are stocked with a variety of fish, making it a great place for beginners as well as experienced anglers. The first lake was built in 1999 and opened for fishing in 2000. Seeing the demand for match fishing, a purpose-built 54 peg match lake was opened in 2002, followed by a 30 peg match lake in 2004.
Thanks to the support of loyal customers, Moorfields Farm Fisheries has grown into a 110 peg complex. The match record on the big lake is 272lbs 12 ozs, and on the small lake, it is 356.2.0lbs. There is a cafe open on matchdays, and toilet facilities are available on site.
