About Lodge Farm Fisheries
Lodge Farm Lake in Essex is a great place to go fishing. It’s a 12-acre lake near St. Osyth that has been around since 2005. The Colchester Angling Preservation Society looks after the lake and has stocked it with carp, some weighing over 20lb.
There’s a car park at the entrance for visitors. The water level in the lake changes throughout the year because it’s used to water the crops on the farm. The lake is always being improved, with new trees being planted around it. If you visit during the warmer months, please remember to water the trees.
You can fish at Lodge Farm Lake all year round, and you’re allowed to fish at night too.
