About Shoebury Park
The Parks Angling Club manages the fishing at Priory Park Lake and Shoebury Park Lake in Southend on Sea. You can fish at these lakes by purchasing a day ticket. The fee is £6.00 for adults, which allows you to use two fishing rods. Juniors and other concessionary license holders pay £2.50 per rod. There is also a summer evening ticket available for adults for £3.00 after 6 pm.
Night fishing is not allowed at either lake, and the traditional close season rules apply. The club is a non-profit organization, and any extra money is used to buy new fish for the lakes or to make improvements to the area.
Club policies are decided by an eight-person committee, who listen to suggestions from members and discuss them at general meetings. The club is always looking for new active members to join.
