About The Warren Fishery

The Warren Fishery in Stanford-le-hope is a fishing spot set in an old gravel quarry near the Thames estuary. The water is clear and fresh thanks to the chalk aquifer that feeds it. The fish are healthy and lively due to the high PH levels in the water.

The complex has 4 lakes: the Main Lake, Square Lake, Tench Lake, and Match Lake. Each lake has its own unique features and fish species.

The fishery was originally owned by Shell angling section, but in 2012 it was taken over by The Warren Fishery Limited. Since then, many improvements have been made, including building a new toilet block in 2014.

After a local outbreak of KHV in 2015, a net dipping regime was introduced to prevent the spread of the disease. Day tickets are available for fishing on all lakes except the Tench Lake. Just show up, set up, and wait for the bailiff to come around.
