The fishing spot is about 2.5 acres in size and is protected from strong winds by surrounding fields and a railway embankment. There are three main sections in the water, with two bays and an island at the north end. There are 39 spots where you can fish from.
You can find a variety of fish in the water, including Carp, Crucian, F1’s, Chub, Bream, Ide, Roach, Rudd, Perch, and Tench. The Carp usually range from 10 to 20 pounds, with some bigger ones up to 30 pounds. F1’s can weigh up to 3 pounds, Crucian up to 3 pounds, Ide up to 2 pounds, Chub up to 4 pounds, Bream up to 5 pounds, and Tench up to 8 pounds. There are also some Perch weighing nearly 3 pounds, as well as plenty of Roach and Rudd.
This fishery is not like typical commercial fisheries, as it is not heavily stocked for big catches. However, you can still have a good day of fishing in the summer when the weather is not too hot and bright. Winter fishing can be challenging, but if you use small bait and feed sparingly, you can still catch some fish.
